Fox News and the rest of the Republican propaganda machine is claiming that Doug Hoffman may have won the 23rd District and will soon take office from Democrat Bill Owens.
The Tea Party Barney Fife of Upstate New York conceded too early it seems. It was not a 5000 vote loss, but 3000 which would call for a recount.
There are also over 10,000 absentee ballots uncounted, most from the the military who Fox News says are overwhelmingly Fox News conservatives.
The flaw in this seems to be that after about half the absentee ballots have now been counted they reflect the reality of the general election rather than the reality of Fox News. NY 23rd Update at Kos
