9 Dead, Twin Peaks, Texas, Bikers and not enough guns

Twin Peaks Biker waco shoot out As this is going on Texas is passing open carry laws for handguns without background checks or permits.

It seems a biker disrespected another biker regarding a parking place while taking a leak in the Waco, Texas Twin Peaks restaurant during lunch on Sunday.

With the restaurant full of five waring biker gangs, the fight rolled through over the bikini clad waitresses in the bar with clubs, knives and guns blazing through the dinning area over tables of customers and into the parking lot where the Waco police, expecting this to happen, were waiting and joined in the ensuing gun fight.

Nine dead and 18 wounded with the police carting off 100 of the 200 bikers to jail and recovering over 100 weapons from the parking lot.  Obviously the problem is two fold, first that only about half the bikers may have had guns rather than all of them, and had they had their guns openly carried on their hips it all would have ended much better. Oh, and in this case the NRA is working on which biker gang were the Good Guys with guns. Ah, American exceptionalism at work.

The biker gangs were primarily the Banditos versus Cossacks (white power) versus the Scimitars. All fine organizations backing the NRA.

Twin Peaks is in trouble, I drive past one all the time and never knew that it was like a Hooters but about T and A rather than just the T.
