The problem with these fools is that after years of watching nothing but Fox News and listening to nothing but talk radio they are in that right-wing bubble they can no longer get out of, much like children of evangelical parents – pound something into people long and often enough and it becomes almost impossible to break out. In fact I just read that almost all those who become “born again” did so literally, they grew up in evangelical households, left and came back.
For three hours Saturday morning I sat at a busy car wash waiting on a detail job talking to over a dozen people outside. I turned things to Trump without showing my cards. Every white middle aged male who was at least 50 pounds overweight voted for Trump in the primary. As they did not know where I stood, their reasoning was only that he was self financing and was not in the pocket of lobbyists and billionaires. That Donald is a billionaire lobbyist just passes them by. I would then just say “We have all known for four years Hillary is going to be president so what’s it matter?”

The hatred for that women. Your God! Gosh, you would think she was black or Mexican or Iranian or something. All of them went on and on about how Fox News is they only real news source that tells the truth. EMAILS!! PATRAEUS! BENGHAZI!! None of which is reported by anyone but Fox News! Which proves they are the only balanced news source! I took notice that all of them listed the same three issues in the same order using the same arguments and even the same words. I would reply that in fact it was the New York Times that broke both stories and the EMAILS are reported by every news source all the time. They of course did not know that because they have never watched or read anything from any other news source other than Fox News.
The good news is even here in Texas those I talked to who were younger and thinner were not Donald Trump fans, unless of course they were wearing camo baseball caps.
Oh the calls for the cars being ready… BLACK F150. WHITE F150! SILVER F150! Trucks aside, have you noticed that there are only four colors for cars anymore. Black, White, Grey and a few Red. I suppose that is a conspiracy of the car manufacturers and consumers to help them get away from the cops. STOP THAT BLACK SUV AHEAD! STOP THAT WHITE PICKUP AHEAD! As apposed to STOP THAT YELLOW JAG AHEAD!
