This is the video of the actual shooting of yet another unarmed black man. Terence Crutcher had a stalled car on a highway in Oklahoma which meant four cops had to approach him with weapons drawn. They say he was reaching into his car but the window was up and door closed, so the brave Tulsa police tasered him and then shot him three times in the chest. So what’s new?
What’s new is this is an older gentleman wearing a white polo shirt and Khakis walking slowly back to his car with his hands way up while the officer in the helicopter says “That looks like a bad dude” and then all subsequent police briefings “the victim” was referred to as “the suspect.”
Sure this goes on all the time, even more than terrorist attacks, but this one shows how police feel about black men. A black guy dressed middle class, driving a middle class car, following directions, is one of the bad ones. If that’s how the cops feel about this guy, imagine how they feel about 18 year old droopy pants in a hoodie?
Oh, there was another one of these last night in North Carolina which resulted in a little riot.
