Trevor Noah and Roy Wood Jr learn that corrupt African nations have been using the wrong words, corruption is not rigging and bribing, it’s gerrymandering and lobbying.
Africa is far away, but this has come up many times in my life spending a lot of time off hunting Corona and Hongo in Mexico which has caused me to quite often over the years to defend my friends South of the border to most every Texas white identity nationalist I know, which is about 80% of white people in Texas.
They tell me it’s all bribes and payoffs, they are all corrupt! Well that is good, for when you go down there to get blotto and obnoxious in whore houses a green twenty can usually get you out of trouble from the getgo. It is populist corruption from the bottom up, rather than our won elitist corruption from the top down.
Indeed it is the lobbying and gerrymandering that corrupts our political system at the top. Also our two long years of campaigning for all congressional and presidential elections does not help. Most civilized and uncivilized nations have honed that down to a month or two. How much email and wussy grabbing can we talk about in just two months rather than two years?
The after election word is that we need to find some common ground between populists [white nationalists] and Democrats [Negroes, Latinos, Asians, Muslims, Indians, Gays, Lesbians, Transgender, women and all 17 white males] that we can all agree, well other than establishment Republican ideology, perhaps that could be taking the money out of elections and taking the profit out of healthcare.
I tried this approach on a few of my populist friends since the election explaining that 60% of Americans are for a single payer healthcare system. Why not all work together and get this done. Their reply reflected the real problem, “What in the white gravy is “single payer?” I went on to explain as their eyes glazed over and they thought they saw a blimp.
It is mostly ignorance that drives white identity politics the world over. When I asked how they could vote for someone like The Donald the answer was universal. Reverse racism. I ask how they are being repressed or oppressed by black people. Digging into that a bit, I had to concede one thing, no matter how devoid of reality that may be, it is how they feel, very strongly. Ignorant people vote feelings rather than either reality, policy or even their own self interest. It is why white working class people have been voting for Republicans against their own self interest since Ronald Reagan made them feel good about themselves living as the pretend to do, on that shinning city on the hill. Oh and not to forget Jesus and baby killing in all this which bigger than we like to admit.
