Indeed there could not be any states more unrepresentative of average Americans than Iowa, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Nevada, well beside Utah anyway, rather it should be Illinois, Connecticut, and California.
If not for the Iowa caucuses every 4 years, perhaps Iowa would cease to exist in anyone’s mind? Like where would Kansas be without Dorothy? Like where is Nebraska? We only know about South Dakota because there is a North Dakota.
