Sure they celebrate Jefferson David day in Alabama, but it has nothing to do with racism, it’s just Southern Heritage which is based on racism.
By the way, we have pretty much the same thing going on here in Austin at the University of Texas where some errant Texans are trying to have a big statue of Jefferson Davis outside on campus put inside somewhere, those people, obviously imported Yankees of some sort are losing that battle. But it’s okay, because just yesterday Texas passed concealed carry on campus! So any arguments about that or who need to chip in for the next keg will be settled quickly and politely.
In a discussion the other day with a gun enthusiast here in Texas I found the elephant gun in the room they fail to address in regarding themselves – good guys with a gun – needing those guns to thwart the bad guys with a gun. Here it is…
99% of the time the bad guys, being bad guys, ARE GOING TO HAVE THE DROP ON YA.
They just don’t get that part. Nor to they get that part that to stop the crazy shooters, most everyone will need to carry a gun for it to work. So rather than argue it they should just stick to their guns need to shoot local police, state police, federal agents, our troops and Mexicans.
