Speaking of Rand Paul, I have been paying him more attention than most for quite a long time now. The Libertarian candidate in this cycle. I have always questioned which is worse, evangelical Christians or evangelical Libertarians? Believe it or not I tend to side with the Christians over the Libertarians. Christians may be ignorant and silly but for the most part they are well meaning. On the other hand there is nothing well meaning about Libertarians whatsoever. At all. Other than their four core issues of I, ME, MY and MINE, they have one overriding ideological issue, FK YOU.
I see the coming GOP primary as a contest between establishment Jeb Bush or Scott Walker up against the White-wing purity of Ted Cruz. I am not sure who will win that fight. The Koch money or the soul of the Party?
But one thing I am willing to to bet on, is much we just found the other day with Rand Paul wanting to make vaccinations voluntary, soon we will be finding more and more just how seriously fked up the man is out there in La La Land with Dad.
His little homilies about peace and pot may sound good to the younguns’ out there, but the whole package is about as bad as it gets.
