Andy Samberg Emmy video, too much TV

Andy Samberg Emmy video, too much TVMost of us watch way too much TV, though I must say that other than all the horrible crap we see on ABC, NBC and CBS in prime time, there is some quality and important things on television.

There is PBS which shines with a few shows like American Experience, NOVA, Frontline and the only unbiased – and shoot yourself boring – news and politics in the world.

HBO has some great series with movie production quality and the funniest thing to ever come out of the box, Larry David’s uncensored Seinfeld show, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

AMC has a few big drama winners with Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Better call Saul and the Walking Dead.

Fox Channel has a good share of prime time cartoons. I know I could not live without a few hours of Family Guy fart jokes each week and have become a big fan of Bob’s Burgers.

Most of the rest of it is crap though, especially any show that comes under the venue of “reality” or has the worlds “WHAT IF…”  repeated in it constantly.

Oh and there is this [as] though I wonder how many know what it is.

I have my own filter for both TV and movies that has mostly done me well. If it is in the present, has a  cop, a doctor, a gun or a speeding car in it, I just click on by.
