What I find most alarming about this interview was done over 4 days ago, and rather than being on the front page where it belongs, I had trouble finding it. Perhaps the biggest campaign flub of all time. Something one would expect from Chris Matthews rather than the wife of the candidate. While many make fun of Romney for the Trees of Michigan and the rolling down the windows on passenger jets – both told as jokes – we miss this which is devastating.

I saw this too and thought it would be very big news. The candidate’s wife is either A. telling us not to vote for him because she KNOWS he can’t handle the emotional strain much less the job. Or B. Telling us to elect him but not to expect much and to go easy on him. Just let him tie the dog on top of the wagon and let him drive the wrong way on a freeway exit. Daddy is always right and we mustn’t upset him.
