African Antelope One, Biker Zero. Fortunately the peddle pusher also remembers zero of this unlikely encounter with Mean Mama Nature.
In another episode of "Animals Do the Darnedest Things," we learn that you can be surprised in what is literally the middle of nowhere. Unknown miles of uninhabited sub-Sahara is not enough room for this Antelope who is caught on film leaping out of nowhere, and taking out the two-wheeled interloper! It certainly wasn’t a crowded area or an official antelope crossing, so we are fairly certain the cyclist was obeying the rules of the path. As you will see it is as if the animal lie in wait, then struck with speed and force to be envied by a pro Tackle. Asked for comment, the cyclist uttered "Oh Holy God – moan!" Repeat, then said a few words of gratitude for his helmet. The Antelope, apparently unfazed had no comment, but will have a long wait for another such opportunity.
