Job seekers in Annapolis, Md were surprised upon phoning a number for the Maryland Job Service listed on the state Family Health Administration's web site.
It was also listed incorrectly in the Verizon Yellow Pages and other web sites.
Hopeful callers reached a phone number for women seeking phone sex. Apparently they weren't in need of more staff, and the callers weren't interested in their service. State workers are aware of the problem...probably the understatement of the year.
