President Barack Obama recently re-affirmed his commitment to rebuilding New Orleans, which is still in shambles four years after Hurricane Katrina. There is plenty of blame and finger pointing to go around, but the President prefers to start making positive changes. As you'll see, Boortz and his ilk feel that rebuilding New Orleans is a waste.

Neal Boortz appropriately took to Twitter to voice his Twit response,"Obama wants to rebuild, NO.  Build it and they will come." They are the same people Babs Bush was caught off camera hissing to her peeps - in an ugly moment, that "They never had it so good." She was referring to the refugees huddled without homes, clothing, and often family members in the Houston Dome.

Boortz further describes the Katrina refugees as "debris" having washed across the country, Katrina having cleansed New Orleans, and Katrina having washed out that debris. This purveyor of hate is celebrating his fourth year on the radio, perhaps it's time to inform his sponsors as well?

They Republican Party has no leadership, John McCain is old and cranky with his 2008 loss causing him to sell out to the nitwit Right.

Republican Senators and Congressman are holding to that hardcore conservative ideology that everything the government does is evil while the contribute nothing but no. [They have a 21% approval rating.]

Her recent divorce from Alaska, screeching about ddeath panels for grandma, yelling about DDeath Books for veterans and defending a psychotic creepy crawler like Glenn Beck.

There now seems no possible way Palin could gain one independent vote in a general election, though she could easily win each GOP primary in every state in America. And there's the rub.

What we used to consider the Religious Right, the Gunloons, the right-wing militias and racist organizations have become not just the base of the Republican Party, but the GOP itself. As their numbers decrease the party is left with those so far to the right that a nasty Evangelical airhead like Sarah Palin has become the face of the Republican Party.

She is now set to replace Phyllis Schafaly as the Wicked Witch of the Right and will soon have her own  show on Fox News like creationist Mike Huckabee - who now makes more in a year than he did over his entire life. Huckabee is presently in Israel, bad mouthing our President on foreign soil.  I expect Fox News to be screaming just as hard as they did when the Dixie Chicks did less. You know, being fair and balanced and all...

Along with a host of reps and dems alike, Sen. John Culver joins in memorializing Ted Kennedy today at the Jack Kennedy Library, which brought not only tears of sadness but many of laughter as each one, Democrats and Republicans alike, who took the podium shared a fond and humorous memory of Kennedy, as well as instances where he fought hard for his principles, was a steadfast friend, and first and foremost fought for those less fortunate. In fact, many of us benefit from the fruits of his hard work over the years, and take the programs and changes in our lives for granted now.

Culver relays his first 'boat race' ever, in their student days in the early fifties, which Teddy had talked him into helping to "crew" not knowing he was the crew! Making matters worse, it was during a storm warning, in much smaller craft than Culver, the land lover had envisioned!

As disgusting as it is at a time like this, the teabagger crowd has selected this as a time to snipe that heath care reform,saying that it is being pushed through on the name of Sen. Ted Kennedy. In truth, he has always felt that the American people all have a right to health care "equal to that of those of us in the house and senate," he has fought for this for decades! The blurred bootay you see sprinting across the Metropolitan Museum's display of ancient armor belongs to Kathleen, AKA KC Neill. This was the second time this week that photographer Zack Hyman made news with naked girls, though he was not arrested either time. Earlier this week he was spotted photographing them on the L Train. Hyman's models usually practice a "drop and snap" which until now had helped Hyman and his models to evade arrest. The guard at the Met was too fast for them this time, just after Neill put clothes on, and began to exit she was detained to wait for police. I can't help noticing he allowed her to continue the shoot until she put her clothes back on. Coincidence?

Zack Hymans felt he had a waterproof excuse now, of all times he's photographed nude women. Hyman asked, “Why is this wrong? There were thousands of people in the Met today looking at nudes as art, but as soon as there is a real nude, it’s a big problem.” Kathleen Neill posed the same question to the guard detaining her. The guard's response? “I had to make sure that girl was turned over to the police. There were little kids in here watching the whole thing.” Oh, the children! We presume they were also viewing the nudes in the museum as well, but back to our vigilant guard. “She told me there were naked statues everywhere, I said,‘Those statues are 400 years old. You’re from the 21st century."

Not only have these wingnuts taken control of these town hall meeting inside, but also outside with their intimidating hate filled racist signs and slogans, AND FLASHING THEIR GUNS, CARRYING ASSAULT RIFLES no less. Gosh...

Freedom Works IS "Fish Kissing" and "Head Start Hating" Dick Armey who refused to even draw a line to use tax money to help children under 5. Which of course makes Dick an especially good  CHRISTIAN. Spread out in the hall and try to be in the front half. The objective is to put the Rep on the defensive with your questions and follow-up. The Rep should be made to feel that a majority, and if not, a significant portion of at least the audience, opposes the socialist agenda of Washington.

You need to rock-the-boat early in the Rep’s presentation, Watch for an opportunity to yell out and challenge the Rep’s statements early.

The goal is to rattle him, get him off his prepared script and agenda. If he says something outrageous, stand up and shout out and sit right back down. Look for these opportunities before he even takes questions.

So there ya go...

What every Democrat should have done in every one of these meetings is to first have everyone put their name in a hat and draw them randomly to speak. After everyone is seated ask for those who support Health Care reform with government options to raise their hands for the cameras. 

And if a wingnut gets going with their birth certificate, death panels, Nazi bullshit do what Barney Frank did. Take their microphone away and with a bit of hard edged humor explain to the cameras that the person obviously suffers from a combination of genetic stupidity, a failure of our rural educational system and was probably bounced on the head too often as a child. DO NOT POLITICIZE IT. Redirect their anger back at them as the laughable truth of the matter. Their inbred ignorance due to far too much sister marrying and snake handling in the family tree.

Gold: Finally! Here on video are Rep. Wally Herger R-CA and his "Proud American Terrorist" Bert Stead. Words could not do justice to the scene at Herger's town hall meeting when Wally met Bert. Just yesterday, when Herger lauded his proud American terrorist and teabagger with great enthusiasm and religious ferver, launched with an Amen, Bless you, and That's a real American! When questioned, of course, he assured us he was only 'jesting,' certainly not serious!

What a difference a day makes! Herger is no longer wrapping himself in the protective blanket of "jesting," rather - he's applauding the right of an American and a veteran's right to free speech, which he seems to now perceive to be in danger from "left wing liberals in Washington DC. Does that mean he was fibbing to us yesterday? Watch Worst to see the video to believe it,and judge just who or what is more frightening for yourself!

Silver: Glenn Beck, unhappy man. At latest count forty five sponsors had dropped his little hate fest of the airwaves, sponsors who perhaps hadn't been aware of his usual shenanigans, or his recent comment that our president has a "deep seated hatred of white people." Today's clip is a certified Beck pity party with an unhealthy dose of paranoia thrown in, which bears resemblance to an after hours crying jag. While he vows to remain unbowed, the groundwork is being laid for a terrible power grab overnight! You heard it here...er there, first! Bronze: Bill O'Reilly, last but certainly not least! Keith did owe Bill an apology after O'Reilly pointed out that Tuesday 'someone' described Fox friends as paranoid and racist. "pinhead would not begin to cover it," said O'Reilly, meaning Olbermann. Of course, an apology was gladly and graciously given on air tonight. Not heartless, Keith Olbermann would not wish to leave out one loon, foil hat fashionista, pin head, conspiracy theorist, or paranoid combination of any and all. Rep. Maxine Waters D-CA , joins Keith to discuss newly elected GOP Congresswoman Lynn Jenkin's recent comments in Kansas, that "Republicans are struggling right now to find the Great White Hope."

If you're unaware of the racist connotations, Keith explains their origins which go back to the turn of the century, when a "negro" held the black heavy weight championship. His opponent - "The Great White Hope," had more to win than just the fight, he was out to prove that a "white man was superior to a Negro."That - is how recent and tenuous our progress has been!

While Jenkins made a cursory apology to anyone she may have offended, it has a hollow ring. I'm grateful that Maxine Waters brings a refreshing view, one that we'd all do well to remember, especially now, with the loss of our largest health care reformer and friend of the average American, Sen.Ted Kennedy.Maxine Waters reminds us, just when we'd perhaps like to call them on racism, that our focus is on health care! They will do try to distract us with this and many other things, but in doing so will do nothing but reveal themselves....we all know that won't be pretty, but we will be on task, our eyes on the prize.
