Contractor-Gate
If we were speaking of the private sector, what if several companies had been BANNED, and not for small things. Let's say their services had and endangered our troops and much worse - Mr. Cheney, and others. The good reasons for their bans range from faulty electrical and plumbing which causes electrocution, to faulty armor, proven not to work, and those barely scratch the surface. They've defrauded a huge list from taxes and medicaid to insider trading, but are being hired and paid very well again.They must have some really good friends in low places. As Keith will tell you, they're even responsible for the pipe which eventually was considered "proof" of the WMD's.
Jindal Gate: Where was he again? Katrina right there at ground zero - fighting the good fight! No you say? Okay, just give the aide a second or two to do some revisionist heroics, times, dates, and places.
Bail Out Gate: I don't claim to be a financial expert, but I could just swear that all of that ol' money..something like $175 million, that we gave the banks (so far) was supposed to be for something - else! I see they're still tossing employees who remain out each day. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure that JP Morgan's generous offer of a Baseball stadium and B of A's offer to help two teams out at "attractive rates" is much appreciated!
