It goes without saying that hillbilly talk is a winner in these circles, but the kicker in the speech, the moment that garnered the greatest standing ovation of the evening was this one:
"We need a commander-in-chief, not a professor of law standing
at a lectern." Sarah Palin on President Obama.
Let me interpret that one for you and why it received the standing ovation:
"We need a stupid asshole to preside over our vision of America, we resent anyone smarter than we are, that's why we love you Sarah!"
