Will the Bush Bubble ever Burst?

Imagine if even for a few brief moments you could have a one-on-one with President Monkey to burst his bubble. Now that would be fun.

He has to be in a bubble, enabled by his cronies, to continue his insane policies. We all know from comments by his first Treasurer Secretary, Paul O'Neil, to more recent statements from ex-Fed Reserve chairman, Alan Greenspan, that the Bush White House was all about politics all the time to the enormous detriment of the average American citizen. Everything they did and do was calculated to hang on to power so they could pursue their warped world view.

And what a world view they gave us. They destroyed Iraq, American prestige world-wide, the economy including the surplus they started with, the constitution, age old checks and balances not to mention Habeas Corpus, trust in government, the rule of law, to the point where the president of the U.S. pretty much has more power than a previous King George we fought a war with over because of all this shit.

For all the professed, political genius of the disgraced Karl Rove, who promoted the wedge issues that divide us so much today, has anyone been keeping track of who's fleeing the GOP faster? Is it the perverts, the pedophiles, or other republicans coming out of closets and bathroom stalls? Or is it the ever mounting corruption scandals and resulting resignations now that a democratic controlled congress is finally performing oversight obligations as required by the constitution? Hey, it's a fair question.

Plainly said, Bush simply has nothing to cheer about. He's a disaster, in every which way one could imagine. My question to him would be, "how can you live with this?" I mean, what hasn't he fucked up? The same question is asked of my many republican friends, and while they get miffed, still no answer.

If it were me that screwed up this badly, that I'd be left with this loser legacy forever, I'd ask my enablers to go find me a rope, that I've personally picked out the tree. Of course we know this won't happen, but it's a kinda fun dream to stick a pin in his bubble.
