To humans, the above quote seems innocuous enough, but to America's Gunloons, it's heresy and treated as such. No matter Mr Zumbo pulled the offending quote from his blog within 24 hours. No matter he groveled on his knees in apology kissing so much ass his face turned brown. No matter, in two days the NRA had him fired from his lucrative job at OUTDOOR MAGAZINE, had all his endorsements taken away, and destroyed his reputation and his life. In just two days! For telling an obvious truth! And hey Zumbo, killing a bear is about as close to murder as one can get, after all, bears are more cognizant than most members of the NRA.

Somehow I don't FEEL more safe with
nuts who haven't passed a simple psychological evaluation arming themselves
to protect their bunkers in case "they need to protect themselves".
So far I've heard this protection is from,
"The government", theives, those who would steal their canned goods in time of war", or small unarmed animals.
Its not only people like Stormin Norman or Bush the Father or Barry Goldwater who have very publicly LEFT it, but as a hunter myself, most every other hunter I know.
And the literaly millions who have left, have been replaced by by militia loons, klansman, nutcases, paranoids, black helicopter nuts, and or course LOONEYTARIANS.
to have missed it, or are trying to make
it seem otherwise on other sites where
you've expressed these opinions.
You are a hunter, someone who has used
guns for sport and target shooting all of your life.
It's fairly representative of the heated
fever pitch which accompanies this issue
that several elsewhere are making false
statements about your desire to remove
guns from "everyone", discarding the
constitutional right to own one, and
one nut even proclaimed reverse discrimination stating that you wanted
to "shoot all white men".

You be the judge, but if this is the "rational" (their word), manner in which they merely discuss their beloved guns, I shudder to think what they'd do if they felt they had reason to aim them at someone!
When invited here to discuss the matter,
I was told that you do not want a
"rational" discussion of the topic.
