It was only last week we reported that the Texas State Senate voted 31 to 0 to give Texas employees the right to fill their car trunks and pickup truck cabs with handguns, assault rifles and pallets of ammunition in their employer parking lots, no matter what a company has to say about it. This of course gives empolyees - who may be more prone to get pink slips during these recession days - a jump on shooting the shit out of who fired them and who didn't get fired. Then just a few days ago we reported that the sale of guns and ammo has increased some 40% since "that Black Dude" became President. Gun shop owners and polls show that 24% of Americans believe President Obama is purposely creating a totalitarian socialist state (after all he says he will increase taxes on the wealthy by 3% in 2011) in which these mindless crackers - who seem to all be NRA LIFE MEMBERS - will need pallets of ammo to kill our troops rather than support them. Adding insult to injury, the Texas House this week passed legislation to allow college students to carry handguns on campuses of our state universities, again, no matter what students or administrators have to say about it. This will not only cause Frat house keg parties to literally become more of a blast, but also help give that endless stream of campus asocial nerds get some bloody respect. Of course the NRA is behind all this insane crap. The reasoning being that if everyone carries a gun - as they do in Somalia, Afghanistan and the West Bank - we will all be safer because there will appear a grand and glorious NRA LIFE MEMBER to save the day and kill the bad guys. I wonder if these nitwits also apply that same reasoning to the world at large? To keep Pakistan and India sober with their nukes, we should allow Serbia and Bangladesh to have nukes too! A nuclear Iran and N. Korea will also keep us safer. And of course give nukes to Mexico and Venezuela. Oh and Somalia!
