Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, who has answered numerous questions about the shootings in Arizona, commented that some in the media were to blame – if not directly for the shootings, then for rousing listeners to paranoia and anger.
Naturally Limbaugh answered for "some" with a preemptive strike against the sheriff, obligingly illustrating Dupnik’s points, and leaving no doubt as to the source of much of the hostility and divisiveness under discussion.
