Just guy stuff tickling piles, just guy stuff groping, just guy stuff sleeping together, just guy stuff sitting naked on other guys faces. It's just good ole boy guy stuff to be sure! What us Texas guys do down here in Texas all the time! Well when we are not shooting stuff anyway.

Spoiler! Spoiler! I think this unsavory nasty and crossing the line digital short by Andy Samberg and Julian Casablancas can best be summed up by the old phrase, "It's like watching old people screw."

Short and sweet with a hook at the end!

Sunday, March 14. 2010
Weekend update with Seth Meyers and guest commentary by Jerry Seinfeld. Tickle fighting, YMCA, and they have ruined snorkeling for everyone for ever. Really! The Republicans are tying to make this into payback for costing them the House in 2006 when Mark Foley was found to be chasing UNDERAGE boy pages around. But though it breaks my heart, Glenn Beck repeatedly got burned by Eric Massa in his hour long interview, Republican House Minority Leader Man-Tan Boner failed to get his plan to investigate Nancy Pelosi through, and to make it a GOP strikeout, another anti-gay Republican got outed by receiving a DUI driving from a gay bar. Republican state Sen. Roy Ashburn resigned from the California House.

Hear the Republicans screeching about States Rights! today States Rights tomorrow! States Rights forever? Hear the Tea Party gang screaming the same thing? Hear them both in their constant attacks on the BIG GOVERNMENT, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, THE EVIL GOVERNMENT? Well here is what that is all about...
JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI - A school district
decided Wednesday not to host a high school prom after a lesbian student
demanded she be able to attend with her girlfriend and wear a tuxedo.
The Itawamba County school district’s policy requires prom dates be of the opposite sex. The American Civil
Liberties Union of Mississippi had given the district until Wednesday to
change that policy and allow Constance McMillen, 18, to escort her
girlfriend, who is also a student, to the April dance. Instead, the
school board met and issued a statement saying it wouldn’t host the
event at Itawamba County Agricultural High School in Fulton, “due to the
distractions to the educational process caused by recent events.” Prom canceled rather than allowing lesbians to attend

Last year's Texas public school enrollment included
2.3 million Hispanic, 1.6 million white and 671,871 African- American
children.
Dumbutt, Texas - Over the past three days the Texas Board of Education has been discussing what we will teaching Texas Children by rewriting Texas history and social science textbooks. As expected the 7 Taliban members of the board are winning the battle. So much so that all but one of the Democratic members of the 15 member board walked out in protest. The issues are about replacing terms like SOCIAL JUSTICE with FREE MARKETS, with removing references to gays and unions and their struggles, and putting in names like Phyllis Schlafly, Jerry Falwell, The Heritage Foundation and so on. But mostly it is about Republican racism to remove whatever they can regarding Hispanics and African Americans in their historic struggles. It is clearly the White Republican members against the Black and Hispanic members. Though there are presently 7 white Christian creationist Fundamentalists on the Board, they usually get an extra 2 votes from the remaining white conservative Republicans to get their way. Texas Board of Education defeats Religious Freedom Amendment
Their views on sexual reality can be summed up in this exchange:
The board also rejected experts who recommended a
sociology standard for high school students to "differentiate between
sex and gender as social constructs and determine how gender and
socialization interact." The focus would shift to "transgender,
transvestites and who knows what else," predicted Barbara Cargill, R-The
Woodland, calling the proposed standard "totally inappropriate." "Talking about your heterosexual experiences" is
inappropriate, added Terri Leo, R-Spring.
Their views on race and culture can summed by this.
Republicans then got their way, including removing
hiphop as an example of a "significant cultural movement" in American
society for high school history. Country music survived.
But the coup de grace, the face of these very white ugly Texas Christians is best understood in the following exchange.
Mavis Knight, D-Dallas, was unable to attract any
Republican support for her motion to teach students that government is
not supposed to favor any religion. Knight's proposed amendment:
"Examine the reasons the Founding Fathers protected religious freedom
in America by barring government from protecting or disfavoring any
particular religion over all others," was defeated.
Board member Cynthia Dunbar, R-Richmond, a Liberty
College law professor, called Knight's proposal inaccurate. "We don't want our religious history to be drawn
from a viewpoint that is not historically accurate," Dunbar said.
The question arises as to what can be done about this level of ignorance and intolerance? Which sadly they wish to further embed into our educational system. Walking down the street here talking to my fellow voters, the answer is obvious, NOTHING CAN BE DONE. Ignorance, Intolerance and of course the guns are what we in Dumbutt, Texas are most proud of. If you are out of state and have trouble grasping what that is all about, just listen to Sarah Palin, she gets it.

Bill Maher hits this issue - AND EVERY ISSUE - out of the ballpark when he says our problem is we blame "it" on something other than ourselves so we don't have to sacrifice anything and pay less taxes. Since the ultimate Lipstick on a Pig, Ronald Reagan, that has been the political dynamic of this nation of Duh. And what is most disgusting is that American Christianity puts the pedal to the metal on that horrid selfish crap rather than doing what it should be doing.

Bill Maher explains tickle piles and navy snorkeling. Republicans are trying to relate this to Florida Congressman Mark Foley and Senator "Wide Stance" Larry Craig. Thing is Eric Massa was not a voice or a vote against homosexuality or was he dealing with underage boys.

Who could get away with sticking a knife deep into Karl Rove's head? Who could take a piece of Karl Rove's brain and eat it on tv? Who could come up with the phrase best defining Rove's book as... A classic Who didn't done it? Stephen Colbert is who!

Please don't get me going on neocons! Our two most popular these days are "Little Billy" Kristol whose daddy bought him the Neocon Bible, The Weekly Standard and Obama hater extraordinaire "Lipless" Charlie Krauthammer. Every time I see either one of them I want to put them in a headlock and give them a knuckle rubbie until they shut up. The influence of the neocons got us into both our present wars and are caused the death of more Americans than 911 and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis (who don't count). These too yo-yos have replaced the old school of neocons who were in the Bush Administration making the calls: Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, Scooter Libby, John Bolton, Eliot Abrams and not to forget "Joey the Jowls" Liebermann. All now disgraced by one thing or another. The

REALITY CHECK - Conservatives like to say that the success of America - premised on their false interpretation of Tocqueville’s Democracy in America - was because of Christian values disseminated through local Protestant churches.
The fact of the matter is quite different, our success was due to stealing the most bountiful temperate untouched agricultural and mineral rich area in the world from the indigenous people living there, later stealing a third more of it from the Mexicans, building a good share of it on slave labor and planning it all from whiskey filled taverns.
What is at stake here is the printing of 5 million text books in the social sciences that will not change until 2020. That much money means publishers will make deals with many other states on the Texas version of history.
More than half of Texas 1st Graders are Hispanic and that majority will soon apply to other grades. Hispanic students also have the highest dropout rate in Texas schools. English Only and removing the names of successful Hispanics in History is a purposeful act to make matters worse.
School board member nutcake Dentist Don McLelroy - who strongly believes that his ancestors here in Texas were hunting dinosaurs a few thousand years ago - lost his primary to less of a nutcake Republican. But this being Texas one never knows how that may turn out. What if this new person sees an image of Christ down the barrel of his Smith and Wesson? That is a Texas trait you know, constantly looking down the barrels of our guns to see if they are loaded...
The other loud creationist on the "School Board 7" is Cynthia Dunbar. She is moving on to yet to be announced greener Right-wing pastures (oops, I suppose that should read "darker" Right-wing pastures). She has given her seat over to her handpicked choice of another Republican.
Though this may change the dynamics of the board come next year with them being reduced to the School Board 6 (of fifteen), it does nothing for the vote coming in a few weeks. Both McLeroy and Dunbar have said they intend to get their Christian licks in before they are replaced.
What these Christians are mostly about is removing Hispanics, Blacks, Indians and Unions from our text books, Also replacing positive references to other religions, cultures and political systems with references to Phyllis Schlafly, the Heritage Foundation, Jerry Falwell and of course Jesus.
A couple of the most contentious changes this gang of nutcakes is trying to pass is removing Ralph Nader and Ross Perot and substitute them for Confederate War General Stonewall Jackson and to put passages written by Jefferson Davis on equal footing with Abraham Lincoln. Texas Conservatives Seek Deeper Stamp on Texts
The first vote comes in a few weeks and the final vote in May.
Wednesday, March 10. 2010
I know this is hard to believe, but their are millions of Americans who believe everything this nutcake has to say... Really! Millions of people think Glenn Beck is smarter than they are! Imagine that... Boogles the mind...

This sure is funny! King of crap processed food. Here is something I bet you never knew about Pringles! They are made from old McDonald's french fries!

I did not think it possible, but Congressman Eric Massa appearing on Fox News Glenn Beck last night made Glenn Beck seem a reasonable person! A real interview! Though he did seem to call the Democrat from New York "...one of the most evil bastards I have ever met!"

This Cheney family just gets more disgusting as time passes. Starting wars, advocating torture, spying on everyone, no understanding of Rule of law or Due Process and now holding up a list of names claiming them enemies of America in league with terrorists. It's worse than McCarthyism. And then we have this lowlife boob of a guy Marc Thiessen adding to it by claiming the President is helping terrorists destroy American. Would somebody please throttle that ugly bastard? Opps! Got a clip of Jon Stewart doing just that. Jon Stewart throttles Marc Thiessen

Wednesday, March 10. 2010
This guy makes my skin crawl. I include in this article not only a video of Jon Stewart doing a good job of not reaching across the desk and throttling the second coming of Joe McCarthy, but also a clip of Larry McDonnell of MSNBC almost coming to blows with the disgusting little bastard.

Wednesday, March 10. 2010
In my weaker moments I can understand the intolerance and bigotry endemic to Governor Bob McDonnell, the fine people of Virginia and Republicans everywhere, it is their pride in it that passes me by. Of all the issues at play in this nation, this is the one that has no basis other than bigotry for the sake of bigotry, hate for the fun of hating and intolerance just for the visceral joy of it. It is the nature of the Beast.

I saw Tom Hanks on the conservative MSNBC show "Mornin' Joe" the other day pushing his new HBO miniseries, "The Pacific". At the end of the interview he did a short political rant leaving no doubt where he stood politically, OBAMA! PASS HEALTH CARE! OBAMA!
Hanks is you may know, the best liked man in America. Which got me thinking how sad it must be for conservatives to have no one to like in any area of the arts. Well there is Steven Baldwin, Ted Nugent and Bo Derek but gee...
How sad it must be for them to have no celebrities to look up to. Perhaps that is the reason behind the popularity of Sarah Palin, if not Sarah then Who?

Tuesday, March 9. 2010
This is a serious discussion between Colbert and Washington Post Health Care guru Ezra Klein that makes the reconciliation understandable for those of us not well schooled in parliamentary shenanigans. Well done...

What I find enjoyable about this is that I find myself laughing at myself. Boy is this a case of a point well taken into the wrong fight! Reminds me off Christopher Hitchens (it is "Christopher" not "Chris" and woe be unto those who make that mistake) whose greatest enemies of mankind were Princess Diana and Mother Theresa (followed by the mad murdering rapist President Bill Clinton.)
That is yet another case where I find that I can agree with much of what that uppity snot nosed drunken prick has to say, but still understand only too well what a disgusting slug of a human being he is. But... He hid Salmon Rushdie in his London Apartment for a year so he has a free ride to say or do anything he pleases.

Tuesday, March 9. 2010
As this video progresses it gets sillier and more absurdly clownish as it moves along. But sadly this is how most Americans think. Just as most Americans believe torture is okay if Americans do it, that Miranda rights do not apply to suspected terrorists - and even overall all its a bad idea, that lawyers who defend suspected terrorist are in league with the Devil, and that hidden military tribunals are the way to justice. In other words screw DUE PROCESS and RULE OF LAW. Oops, Screw DUE PROCESS and RULE OF LAWS unless "I" am in trouble. So what does that tell us about most Americans? Are they really that stupid or more likely... Has some political party made them so crap-their-pants afraid of everything that they can no longer think straight?

Tuesday, March 9. 2010
I mean gosh, what a... I can't even come up with a name. He is so disgusting on every level one would think Rush Limbaugh would be quoting him and Glenn Beck would have him on his TV show. Oops, Rush has already been quoting him and he will be on Glenn Beck tonight or the following night. Though his story of tousling his male aide's hair and saying he would like to "Frack" him was rather tame, I did enjoy his story of entering his shared room on a Navy Ship last year to see his roommate "imagining he was with his wife" and asked "You need help with that?"
"Rahm Emanuel is son of the devil’s spawn, he is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote. He would strap his children to the front end of a steam locomotive. I am showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me." The Hill on Massa
I wonder if Massa and Beck will be drawing Rahm's unit on that infamous "blackboard of nonsense?" Or perhaps Beck will finally move his show up an intellectual notch and they will have a circle jerk!

This rather hidden and innocuous story of local Houston politics this morning caught my eye. It realizes something I had not thought out properly. Their are not two entities pulling the GOP apart, but three. Split among local GOPs spills over into Facebook
In this case the light shines upon a Fcebook argument between Religious Right activist and talk show host Terry Lowry and Republican County Judge Ed Emmett. Emmett became very popular down here for putting politics aside in dealing with Hurricane Ike. He was the face of reason Houston looked to on television during the greatest natural disaster in our history.
Terry Lowery wants Republicans to enact litmus tests regarding how much they hate and despise abortion and homos. If they do not express enough hatred for either, then they should not be allowed to run for office in Texas as Republicans. Judge Emmett disagrees, open tent and all that.
So there we have an example of the old schism in the GOP, the social conservatives versus the moderate Republicans whose only real concern is keeping their money away from the government.
But lo and behold comes a third rail in this ugly stew of dark hearted selfish intolerance and bigotry, the Tea Baggers who don't much care about abortion, homos, or rich county club bankers. They are an aging version of the Ron Paul/Ayn Rand Looneytarian faction that were so loud on the Internet during the last election.
The Tea Party movement is all about ideology, based primarily upon their confusion over the constitution, their poorly hidden bigotry concerning States Rights Forever, and an overwhelming personal hatred of Barack Obama who happens to be a bit off color. It's all about an evil big government which has no right to tax them for the common good. The common good is socialism, pure and simple.
This menage a trio gives an even greater chance of a third party emerging before November which there could be no better news for Democrats!
The GOP needs a new slogan to tie these three groups together, and I just happen to know that that is. Something they can all agree on in full, but please... Shhhhh Don't say anything.
MORE GUNS FOR WHITE PEOPLE!
