More Christian bigotry, intolerance and homophobia has been found from Preacher and gun enthusiast Phil Robertson, the patriarch of Reality Show for White Trash like him (Robertson’s words) Duck Dynasty.

In the 2010 video we see Preacher Phil giving his sermon to a Pennsylvania gun crowd of some sort in which he claimed homosexuals to be “ruthless, full of murder, arrogant and liable to invent ways of doing evil. They bow down to birds, animals and reptiles and each other and the first thing you see coming out of them is gross sexual immorality,” Duck Dynasty Preacher, gun Enthusiast and Rasputin wannabe Phil Robertson.
This 2010 wholesale bigotry directed at gay men and women reinforced recently with his GQ interview saying much the same is not the worst of it, this recent quote by him is even more disgusting:
“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field … They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’ — not a word! Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.” Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson.
African Americans were happy and full of song under American apartheid when people like Phil Robertson told them where they could not eat, drink, sleep, work, walk, talk or vote.
Of course Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the REPUBLICAN spokesman are defending Rasputin. After all, free speech is only for bigots, those responding to the bigotry need not apply.
The interviewer at GQ missed the tell-all question to ask Mr Robertson which would have defined him more completely. “So Phil, what about the confederate flag?”
You see the problem with religion? How it celebrates intolerance, bigotry, hate and violence through a process that isn’t even real. Take the money out of it and it’s gone.
