The game here is to guess WHY they are 12 miles out! I figured it out in about 3 seconds. For some it may take longer, and others perhaps forever.
HINT: Speaking of forever, it was about that long ago in my traveling days that I happened upon a beautiful place in the Mexican Rain Forest called Palenque. Little did I know that it also happened to be the Magic Mushroom capital of Planet Earth.
People from the world over filling hotels, campgrounds, restaurants and climbing the famous Mayan Ruins higher than a Moon shot.
But nothing is free, you must pay the piper. In this case it was wakening the following morning with harsh pain around your waist, and your cheeks and jaw.
Caused by 8 to 10 hours of laughing your ass off at everything that comes by. Especially chickens, turkeys and pigs falling in your lap from the overhead racks of the buses as they honk and swerve to avoid other such buses along the mountain roads. And even funnier when your pal buys one of the turkeys as a traveling partner… How many times did I have to say, "Put down that turkey Butch!" Or, "You can’t take that turkey in there Butch!" Which it turned out I was usually wrong, you can take turkeys and a beer anywhere in Mexico.
