Bill Maher Monologue, measles and Christians, Feb 6 2015

bill maher monologue

Christians are pooping their pants about President Obama remembering the Crusades, the Inquisition, slavery and Jim Crow which were all done in the name of Christ. They say It doesn’t count because those things all happened long ago. Jim Crow was all of 50 years ago. So it is that “long ago” doesn’t count for Christians. So please take that old 800 year old book of yours and shove it up your ass. There are more bad ideas in that book than there are in Mein Kampf.

But let’s ignore that hypocrisy, just as we are required to ignore all such hypocrisies that swarm around religion, and admit that they have a point as to what Islam is doing these days.

Since the passage of Roe V Wade in 1973, which has saved millions of women from mutilation, death and suicide, Christian terrorists in American have been responsible for 8 murders, 3 kidnappings, 17 attempted murders, 41 bombings, 173 arsons, 153 assaults, 619 bomb threats, 1264 acts of vandalism and 1630 arrests for trespassing. And that is not counting all the non Pro Life Christian terrorism here in America or the present Christian terrorism around the world no one wants to talk about HERE in JesusLand.

So please, let’s see all Christians, especially Christian leadership in the pro life movement, publicly condemn these acts or terrorism. This afternoon.

I was disappointed in most of the show tonight finding the BLAZE and WEEKLY STANDARD reporters more grounded in reality than either Bill Maher or the Liberal Lady regarding flu shots, vaccinations and GMOs.

We are not all unified on all issues. I am a proponent of flu shots, vaccinations, GMOs and nuclear power. But none of those issues are ideologically profound.  Here are the top 10 profundities of being a liberal:

  • Capital punishment is wrong.
  • Affirmative Action is the right thing to do.
  • Progressive taxation in lieu of regressive taxation.
  • Civil, legal, equal and economic rights for minorities, women and gays.
  • Reasonable gun controls including registration.
  • Collective bargaining with scab free strikes.
  • Holding firm to the separation of church & state.
  • The right to an abortion to viability.
  • First & Fourth Amendment civil libertarian.
  • A serious environmental concern.

We all get one foible, but only one.
