Unexpectedly, Bill Maher did not take on Ted Nugent who called him out this week. I would not be surprised that it was a security issue. Ted Nugent is too much of a coward to confront Hollywood's personal security guards, but there are gun enthusiasts who do not take lightly to those who make fun of their leaders. Better safe than sorry.
Or it could have been just the satisfaction of not taking the bait as Nugent wanted to get a week of free national PR.
As to the Pope. Bill has it right. The new Pope same as the old Pope. Nothing new under the Sun. Nothing will change as it has always never changed. In fact I am reading more and more about the movement of both Protestants and Catholics to double down on evangelizing the intolerance to combat the slow leak they are experiencing of losing more followers year after year. I think their only hope is and extension with FREE PLAVIX AND LIPITOR.
