Bill Maher Monologue, Rand Paul hasn’t the Clap, March 6 2015

bill maher monologueSeems Rand Paul is in so much disfavor with the GOP from so many directions I wonder if he should drop out of the GOP pile and run as a 3rd Party candidate for the Libertarian Party to finally get some numbers on the board. Perhaps from less than 1% to maybe as high as 3%. How wouldn’t like to live in Thunderdome?

Rand Paul is not only in very very deep do-do with the Neo Cons, but with the Money Cons as well. Even the Base Cons are having a problem with him over the weed. To say nothing of him trying to play nice with African Americans which he is terrible at. Though I do assume he will be in Selma, Alabama this weekend. So good for him.

Some white people in Alabama celebrated the Bloody Sunday march in Selma by putting put up a big in your face billboard in view of the famous Edmund Pettus Bridge (named after a KKK member) – in honor of KKK founder Nathan Bedford Forrest.

Though 41% of white people voted for a black Barack Obama nationally, only 16% did the same in Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas and a whopping 15% of whites in Alabama. Alabama beats Mississippi! The numbers seem to show that The South is more than twice as racist as the rest of the country. Who knew?

Of course Speaker of the House John Boehner and Majority Leader in the Senate Mitch McConnell will not be attending. I suspect it could interfere with their support of the Ferguson Police department.

Majority Whip Steve Scalise from Louisiana in much racial trouble for his friendship with David Duke and speaking at racist organization events will not attend. Like Boehner and McConnell attending could cause them all to lose the next election.

Update! After much cringing the GOP has decided to send Kevin McCarthy to represent the GOP in Selma.  McCarthy holds a seat in California so this will probably not cause him too much harm in 2016.
