Boy did Bill Maher get that right about Fox News going nuts about the social media video President Obama made the other day. Making most hay over it because that nice American lady Kayla Mueller was just killed in Syria while the president jokes around.
Anyone remember George W. Bush searching through the Oval Office for weapons of mass destruction after 5000 nice American soldiers were killed for NO REASON AT ALL. If it were not for Plavix and Lipitor there would be no Fox News.
True Story: A few months ago I found my local car wash had gone out of business because of a big new fancy car wash had just opened across the street called Car Spa. I drove to the enter area, picked my plan and walked into the large spacious waiting room with half a dozen big screen TVs. It even had an elaborate playground for the kids. As I entered I was met by Fox & Friends blaring at me from the big screen over looking the playground and lounge area. As I rounded the corner into a narrower area I found three more giant screens blaring Fox & Friends at the several people sitting around reading from tablets or playing with their phones.
I asked the young lady at the cash register if she could change the channel, that I could not suffer 30 minutes of that silly crap blaring at me. She said I was the 2nd person that morning who asked that, but no, the channel and volume are locked by corporate rules. I told her that being the case to stop the wash as I most certainly was not going to pay to watch Fox News.
The car was already in the washy wash process, but she said okay and that I would have to fill out a SUGGESTION form, staple my unpaid receipt to it and give it to her before I could retrieve my vehicle. I wrote such a long dissertation to Car Spar Corporate that by the time I was done my car had gone through both the washy-wash and the detail work. So I tipped the two illegal aliens Fox News hates so much a couple bucks and went on my way to never return.
Car Spa has 15 locations in 5 states. I am not sure that all locations are required to blare Fox News 24/7 or it is just their Texas locations. Also I found both GOOGLE and YELP reviews for Car Spa are dreadfully awful.
