When even snack chip bag noise is too much of a sacrifice for Americans to suffer, there will be be nothing done to fix anything at all. That culturally accurate Queen song from the 1990’s needs a bit of an update:

I watched the Mclaughlin Group last night (the oldest political round table on television) and was surprised to see John MClaughlin (economic conservative Republican millionaire), Pat Buchanan (social conservative Republican millionaire) and Mort Zuckerman (conservative Republican billionaire) all LOUDLY and ADAMANTLY say that the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy should be repealed. Also the lone liberal voice of Eleanor Cliff agreed. Only panelist Monica Crowley dissented (Right-wing talk radio host).
Of course we will not repeal the tax cuts on the wealthy because Fox News, talk radio, the new Republican Congressional White Wave, and President Obama in his pink tutu are afraid of the Teabaggers. Sure they are 30% of the electorate, sure they are stupid and well armed which is dangerous, but they need a smackdown rather than given any credibility on anything at all.
