Before going any further, ALL, and I mean ALL the sexism and misogyny in America and the rest of the world derives from religion – with women being the biggest adherents. Not to mention that most of the intolerance and bigotry in the world also derives from religion. And all for what? You don’t want to die? Toughen up.

Perhaps we should follow God’s advice on religion and spend somewhere between 10% (tithing) and 14% (Sabbath) on religion rather than making it the be-all and end-all of our existence. For we all know that is where the trouble comes.
