Fundraising site Indiegogo has now raised $100,000 for Bree Newsome who bravely and righteously climbed the 30 foot flag pole in front of the South Carolina state house to take down the confederate flag. She and accomplice James Tyson were arrested at the scene, taken to jail and released on $3000 bond. Film maker Michael Moore has said he will pay for their legal expenses.
The confederate flag was run back up the pole 45 minutes later in time for the pro confederate flag rally later in the day.
Here is a picture of the two people raising it. Though the names of these men who were only doing their job and following the rule of law, I would still like to know their names so I can congratulate them for just doing their job and following the rule of law.
Somewhere in that 45 minutes it seems some white guy In the South Carolina government said, “Be sure to get a couple NWORDS to put it back up! And get photos of them doing it!”
Get ready for this confederate flag rally crap to be going on all over Dixieland. And the run on confederate flags may even surpass the run on assault rifles after Obama was elected.
Expect to see confederate flags now sold at Chic Fil A, Hobby Lobby, Cracker Barrel, Bucky’s, Paula Deen’s last standing restaurant and out of the trunks of all the GOP presidential contenders during the South Carolina primary.
What a backlash this is going to create, coupled with the Obamacare and Gay Marriage rulings. Oh, for what it’s worth, I just read that since 2002 there have been twice as many terrorist acts by White Supremacists than by Muslims.
One thing for you Southern Christians. If you do go jihad on this triple whammy you have just suffered, please keep in mind that you are suppose to take yourself along to see God who is Great. Meet the Muslims halfway on that at least.
