What’s with the beard Stephen?
So the Republicans are all upset that we traded five Taliban leaders for one of our soldiers. Five of our prisoners which we have been holding in Cuba without charges for 13 years. The Republicans are against the trade. They would not have brought home one of our own prisoners of war. Or for that matter, fund the VA so it has enough doctors and nurses to help our veterans in a timely manner. In fact they are now going to do all they can to destroy the VA and replace it with for profit CIGNA vouchers.
We have also now learned that Bowe Bergdahl and his father did not like war or bombing the crap out of people which is adverse to everything the Republican party stands for. Carry a big stick and use it unilaterally.
So now we add five more individuals to the 5 million or so Islamic jihadists who already want to kill us. Doing the math we find it going from 5,000,000 to 5,000,005!
But it is no matter as Stephen Colbert has stumbled onto the bottom line solution. We have their names, their pictures, their face prints and a fleet of drones that are specifically designed for just this purpose.
So what’s the squawk? Oh yes, Obama broke the law by dealing with terrorists. You remember the Reagan Impeachment when he did the same in Iran.
