Sugarland is a white collar white community a bit Southwest of Houston. It is most famous as where Tom DeLay lived before he got run out of town. Not for being the craziest Right-wing lunatic in America, but for being a nastyass crooked prick.
One thing we do have to credit the McKains for is that this woman, which I assume is black, did come on their property, and they did not shoot her in the back with double ought buck from 10 feet away as Pasadena Joe Horn did, unamred black men in the back, 10 feet away, and got away with it. In fact as we speak there is talk of having a parade for Joe Horn the hero of Pasadena, Texas. 
Wednesday, July 23. 2008Packing heat at the Boise, Idaho Zoo
It goes without saying that a family openly strapping guns to their belts (along with a couple extra clips of ammo) and going to the Boise Zoo keeps lions, tigers and bears (oh no) from eating people. On the day in question no animals had eaten any humans. It is also a deterrent for all would be animal thieves and stroller hijackers. Again not one rattlesnake or elephant was stolen from the zoo on this day, and no strollers were stolen or children kidnapped. So the dozen or so gun packers did their job well as there were also no terrorist attacks or Mexicans taking jobs away from any white people. Of course as you can see from the video below the local Boise TV station could only claim that openly carrying weapons at the zoo is "unusual" rather than the more appropriate description that it is "f**king nuts". I must also add that it would seem to the casual reader that Idaho is a right-wing noodle state but in its defense please keep in mind that one of Idaho's United States Senators is open and tolerant of soliciting gay sex in public rest rooms. So at least give the people of Idaho that. After all, no place is all bad. Well... There is Pasadena, Texas.
Monday, July 21. 2008Texas Defies World Court Ruling and will Execute Mexicans
This case concerns the Mexican government who do not have capital punishment (they are bad Christians) wanting the United Nations to review 51 Mexican Nationals on Death Row because they were not allowed to talk to Mexican Consulate. It subsequently came down to the World Court asking a halt in the executions of five Mexicans for the same reason. President Bush went along with the World Court on the Jose Medellin case but the Supreme Court overrode President Bush. Mexico then went to the World Court again to ask for an emergency halt in the executions. Last week Governor Perry told the World Court to mind its own business.
We may find the hateful blood lust expressed by the fathers of the victims understandable, but to say that they are related in any way to Christianity is how does one say, caca de toro. This issue of thumbing our noses at the world regards executions is much like our views on torture, Abu Ghraib and Gitmo. What goes around comes around. So please, no complaints when its Americans who are tortured and executed by some foreign nation.

I would guess the argument on behalf of the Texas Taliban is that without our tax dollars going to abstinence programs, Texas teens would be having even more sex than they already are.

At first glance one may think this is just about fear overriding common sense as college campuses have very high levels of drunkenness, drug use, suicide rates and adolescent stupidity. But there is no cause to worry. This has been all taken care of as the students are required to pass a concealed carry course. The course was taken and reported upon by Houston Chronicle reporter Janet Elliott who chronicled her experience in which the instructor told those in his class that they should not drink alcohol when carrying a gun, or wave it around in a threatening manner, and not to pull it out when angry at someone! So as that is the case, there is nothing to worry about. Learning to conceal and carry While the rest of the civilized world has been working to reduce violence and create hope through reform and social programs, we in America find the solution to be more and larger prisons, longer sentences, expanding executions, and evermore people buying and carrying bigger and better guns.

What's with it is the police were wrong, there were no drugs of any sort in the cookies. He was recently sentenced to community service to bake cookies for police departments in the area. He was also due in court for a more recent of fight with a police officer from the Blue Mound Police Department. On the day in question, Mr. Phillips says he and some friends were smoking pot and baking his police cookies which he hand delivered to the Blue Mound Police Department saying he was there at the behest of Mothers Against Drunk Driving to thank the police for their work. Phillips had a list of officers due for cookie delivery but denies there was any LSD involved. He does admit that his friends may have added a little pot to the receipt as a joke. Got sidetracked there. So anyway, Bubba heard that MSNBC was the even more communist and Marxist than CNN. It was not hard for me to make the switch, even after 20 years. Lou Dobbs has been wearing me out. It became physical because when I saw him I would pretend to put him in a head lock and then smash him in the teeth until a family member would poke me with a stick to snap me out of it. I wrote a nice email and a snail mail to CNN management to explain they lost a long time fan because of Lou Dobbs.
Maybe I tolerate him because he is a Christian Bigot, which being in Texas so long leads me to believe is better than being a Secular Bigot like Lou Dobbs. Lou Dobbs who has no sense of humor and his independence - he was a registered Republican until he switched to Independent in 2006 to gain share - is fading fast as it looks like Barack Obama is NOT going to declare war on Mexico. And China... And Canada... Fences all around! I wonder if the China fence will go along our West coast or their East coast? I will have to call Bubba on that, he will know.

Chaudhry Rashid (54) of Jonesboro, Texas, an American Pakistani choked his daughter Sandela Kanwal (25) to death after she came home from Chicago saying she did not want to live with her husband anymore. Pak American kills daughter for refusing to live with husband Mr. Rashid had a seizure at the scene and is presently in the hospital. Under Texas Law, with his daughter being on his property, all Mr. Rashid need do is say he was afraid. Then he too may gain hero status along with Pasadena, Texas Joe Horn. There is the problem of course in that he has a funny sounding name, may not speak good English, and is not as white as Mr. Horn. You can't get any whiter than Joe Horn, well, other than John McCain and the Winter Brothers anyway.
Monday, July 7. 2008El Paso Stabbing and Wheel Chair escape, the real storyMan in wheelchair charged in stabbing Some stories just cry to be explained more in depth. Let me try... Two Texas single men, Jim Grady and Billy Cheeks had a feud going over the sale of 4 pickup truck rims. Before breakfast after a long night of Friday night drinking 300 pound Mr. Grady decided it would be a good time to wheel on over to Billy Cheeks' apartment, force open the door, jump out of wheel chair and pitch a throwing knife at Billy. Stabbed in the chest, Cheeky grabbed his sword and hit Grady so hard in the face with it, the sword was dented. Bleeding profusely from the head, Grady decided to make a run for the Mexican border only several miles away. He made his escape more than half a mile in his motorized wheel chair before police caught up to him and took him to jail. That is silly enough, but what are you and I most concerned with at the moment? Something we may never know. Was Billy Cheeks wearing a sword at the time or did he just happen to have one laying around on the coffee table or something? And it got dented. What was the sword made of? Don't you want so see that sword? I know I do... Oh, and what is it about people whose necks are bigger around than their heads?

As I assume is true to most large cities, the city of Houston has a large minority population with Democratic control, but it is the surrounding county which dispenses justice in a very white and very Republican manner. In fact there are no Democrat judges in Harris County. The District Attorney office and Texas state elected offices are 100% Republican. Texas Republicans, which means they are very WHITE, very beholding to very intolerant religious beliefs and about very racist. An example of this city/county disconnect can be explained by Rep Lee being the most respected politician in the City of Houston, while in Harris County they would like to see her take just one little baby step onto a corner of Joe Horn's front yard. The grand Jury that No Billed Joe Horn for shooting two unarmed men in the back not only works secretly but the members are chosen in secret though it is no secret that these grand juries are picked by conservative Republicans from a pool of conservative Republicans. Though it cannot be said jurors are all white, it's a safe bet that jurors are all white other than a few token very conservative Blacks and Hispanics. It is the nature of the Beast. This has been further exacerbated by Pasadena, Texas looking for a new Police Chief with the many of the fine people there wanting to draft Joe Horn for the job. You know, have a Police Chief who has no problem AT ALL shooting unarmed African Americans and Hispanics in the back. Makes ya proud to be from Texas... When this xenophobic rounding up began with that ring of what another such gestapo did for similar reasons in a time and place far away, it was just the few Hispanic organizations one would expect, and a lonely Houston Chronicle which would speak up. At times people step up to the plate who are often the least expected. In this case it is Jim McIngvale. Better known to all of us down here in Dumbutt over the past 25 years as Mattress Mack! Most every day we see him on TV holding up that fistful of dollars with his fast talking screech of "SAVES YOU MONEY!" We also hear of Mack each year during rodeo time when he spends a millions on buying the top bred steer or pig. Someone we see often flaunt their millions. He does not attack either our government or the ever growing majority of people who add insult to injury toward the very least of us, but questions it from a humanitarian point of view. With the Joe Horn case they express their distaste in terms of vigilantism and the rule of law. Being from the area, and having many friends and aquaintences in Pasadena, Texas, I do not have to go out on a limb to say that in this case, had the two men been white they would be out on bail today. And if he had shot two white guys, which is absurd, he would have been indicted and facing charges of pre meditated murder. The MSM cannot say such things because even though they know it, they cannot prove it so they are not allowed to tell the truth, only the proven truth. Not only was this premeditated murder by a back shooting coward looking for trouble, but it also shows that Joe Horn had an advanced degree in Texas Gungoonery and was following the NRA enacted Castle Law ruling which he knew damn well allowed him to enjoyably kill whomever he pleased on his property and get away with it. It is why he went outside, because he knew Texas had become a Free Murder state along with six others now, and with the NRA on a roll, sure to be lots more states passing Free Murder laws. I have to say that the Houston Chronicle had little choice in running this disgusting piece about what a fine man Joe Horn is. For a paper to survive down here in Dumbutt they most certianly cannot question Texas Gungoonery or the Gunloons themselves. And boy are they riding high these days hey! Wowzer!

No, it is not a rupture of free speech down here in Dumbutt, Texas where overt racist speech and writing had been defended for a generation under the auspices that Political Correctness is Liberal Nazism. No, the women arrested, Chynethia Gragg, who confronted the Sugarland couple in their pickup truck (you know it just had to be a pickup truck) outside their home got hot, called them racists and threatened them by saying she would get someone to take care of him later! 
You will have to excuse the joy I take in reporting on Idaho. It is the only place a Texan can point to and say, "Well, at least we aint as crazy as that!" 
This story is what being a Texan is all about. It transcends race, ethnicity, class, and even religion. We in Texas will shoot or execute who we want, when we want, where we want and anyone who doesnt like it has missed what we in Texas know is the basis in what Christ taught. Vengeance, shoot and Kill. 
There is much ado down here in Dumbutt to get college students, college professors, college janitors and people visiting colleges to pack heat. There is also the coming vote on getting rid of the "conceal" part of all this. Though the fun of waving guns around in bars and church and duels in the street will not be as easy to get done as moving thousands of guns into dorms and fraternity houses.

Bubba is always giving me a hard time about watching Communist Cable News (CNN). Bubba of course watches only FOX News Network. He is especially happy about our local affiliate Fox Channel now doing a live full hour of local news three times a day.
Thus far the switch has been fine. It seems I have exchanged Lou Dobbs for Pat Buchanan. It seems Pat is always on in the morning with Joe Scarborough, and quite often in the afternoons with Chris Mathews. 
Grady (Courtesy El Paso Police Department)A Northeast El Paso man was arrested early Saturday after he allegedly lunged from his motorized wheelchair and stabbed another man.
Seems the NO BILL grand jury decision on Joe Horn was the last straw for Congresswoman Jackson Lee who has called for congressional hearings regarding Justice in Harris County. 
Most everyday down here in Dumbutt, Texas we read of about America's Men in Black Gestapo (ICE) storming into homes and workplaces to haul off and imprison people whose crime is working hard for small change. They literally tear mothers from children and husbands from wives for lack of paperwork. The destruction of families sent by our most boisterous family values crowd. The same crowd who cry "rule of law!" only when it suits them. 
Joe Horn got the front page of the Houston Chronicle this morning to throw out his crap that he is just a fine, nice, kind, regular guy who didn't want any trouble. Well Bullshit! Read that transcript right there.
