Gainesville Christian Kristallnacht Book Burning only days away

"Islam is a very oppressive religion, and the Quran is definitely a dangerous book, we want to send a clear message to radical Muslims, that in the U.S., we are not interested in shariah law and shariah courts. We have a Constitution, and we hope to uphold it." " Terry Jones, pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center.

The Gainesville Christian Book Burning will take place on Sept 11th on church property. Though they have 7,000 facebook fans they expect only a few hundred will show up to burn about 100 Qurans. Religious leaders decry plans for Quran burning

Good to hear Pastor Jones is for the constitution which gives Muslims the constitutional right to and build that Mosque in New York wherever they please. Hear! Here! You go guy! Or is their something wrong with the logic tree there?

Our own little 1938 Nazi Kristallnacht! To make it more American I suppose as it is a day thing, we could call it Kristianday. Because as we all know, all Christians are book burning bigots.
They burn the books before they burn the people. Well Catholics and Lutherans anyway...

The proper religious response to all this is well documented in the Bible, an eye for an eye, a book for a book - so let us begin the Bible Burnings!
You go first! Let us know how it turns out.

Stephen Hawkings says God did not create the universe

Next week look for a new book by the world's smartest man, THE GRAND DESIGN by Stephen Hawkings and Leonard Mlodinow. God did not create the universe, says Hawking

"Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist...It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going." Stephen Hawkings in new book "The Grand Design," co-authored with U.S. physicist Leonard Mlodinow.

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." Albert Einstein, 1954

But Republicans have the proper response to the two smartest people in the world...

You know how the popular American anthem goes...

Smart people got no reason
Smart people got no reason
Smart people got no reason
To live

They got great big brains
And little dicks
They run around
Acting like pricks
They got their noses in the air
Lying through their teeth
With degrees on the wall
And sandals on their smarty pants feet

Well, I don't want no smart people
Don't want no smart people
Don't want no smart people
`Round here

Video: Televangelist Glenn Beck bad Historian

I know this is hard to believe, but Televangelist Elmer Beck who constantly bleats on and on about not finishing even one course in college - which in itself makes him a "properly" home schooled historian - is shown here to be completely and historically wrong on something so easily Googable.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Other than the stall of this erection because of the religious intolerance of those who like Glenn Beck, know nothing, the lesson is that once the supernatural is allowed to trump reason all things are possible!

Perhaps Glenn will take the climb up that thing for a jump to see if he can fly? I take that back. He is stupid enough to try it. Or maybe just jump the Snake river in a rocket or something. I have made it this far with no blood on my hands and intend to keep it that way.

Video: Bill Keller Ground Zero Liveprayer Church of Bigotry

Bill "Bad Hair" Keller runs an online Christian Church based upon intolerance, bigotry and hate. The first things to jump out at you at his Website is "Mohamad" pictured as a pig, Osama and Oprah together and of course Obama with Hitler. The Live Prayer Website

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

One would think this would be a big story but so far it's just a blurb from Salon and this video from Olbermann. Other than the hypocrisy there is no big stink from the Left because the Left understands the establishment clause of the First Amendment means what it says.

So the issue comes back to that hallowed sacred ground crap, which is the basis of ALL the violence in the Middle East.

We need to be more like the religious folks in the Middle East. We cannot be left behind! We need walls! Lots of walls. With armed checkpoints! And rock throwing! And not to forget the wailing! And of course bells and voices calling us to prayer all day! These are the things that matter. THEN comes jobs and health care and going to school and stuff.

Perhaps its time for Larry Flint to enter the fray and build some outlandish religious porn studio. Wait! Where are the Scientologists! We need a Scientology Laboratory nearby, perhaps offset by a Mormon tabernacle. CHURCH WARS AT GROUND ZERO. But seriously, I think walls with checkpoints are the answer to religious strife.

Video: A Religulous response to the Beck Rally

This is the 5 minute conclusion to Bill Maher's movie RELIGULOUS. It covers a theme I have reflected upon long and hard myself. The proudly shouted orgiastic joy such people take in the wholesale real murder of 6 billion souls just to get their own asses into pretend Heaven. Basing a religion upon Pee Wee Herman would be a step up.

After watching this I was thinking how cool it would be if Bill Maher took over the Mall and read the script of this movie to the crowd. I would go! And I could haul along my couch, my big screen TV and my fridge because there would be more than enough room. I suspect the only people with balls enough to show up would be Congressman Pete Stark, writer Sam Harris and Biologist Richard Dawkins. At least there would be no controversy about attendance. All you need is one eye and one hand.

Which gets me thinking. We know they have HI RES aerial pictures of Glenn and Sarah's Church Picnic taken at high noon. Why doesn't someone just count the people and be done with it. Give a dozen workers a section each of the crowd, enlarge it and count. We would have the answer in a few hours. Ahhh... I see... EVERYONE knows that expending the effort won't matter half a nanonit. These are religious people where reality is a secondary part of their lives. There is no point in it, the numbers would all be what the want to be.

Cartoon: Glenn Beck hears from Jesus, Toles

The problem with this cartoon is that neither Tom Toles or the New York Times are allowed to disparage Christianity. It is just not allowed in this country by either politicians, the media or any business. IT WILL NOT BE TOLE RATED! It is not done. Far too many votes and sales of Twinkies are at stake to go anywhere near it.

The caption from Jesus should have said... Glenn I understand you represent the prevailing Christian beliefs of those at the rally, those in the Tea Party and the majority of Americans who believe "PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP" means "to hell with GOOD DEEDS" - ONLY personal BELIEF matters. As Pastor Beck explains over and over and over again, good deeds come only from socialism, communism, Marxism, liberalism and Progressives who are in bed with Satan. Which is a disgusting self centered religion created specifically for disgusting self centered people.

It is what is missing from not only this cartoon but from the national discussion as well. The corruption, the bastardization of Christianity as the central core of selfish, callous, intolerant and violent Right-wing politics is shameful. Hopefully so many turning religion so ugly will cause those coming up will once and for all reduce it to the intellectual game it happens to be. Imagine...  Kick! The religion pages.

Video: Fox News Sunday, Is Glenn Beck the Second Coming?

This just in! Though CNN and CBS are standing firm of their 87,000 crowd estimate from Glenn & Sarah's Church picnic yesterday, this morning Joe Scarborough has repeatedly put the number at 500,000! So there you have it! With Fox News Sunday moderator Chris Wallace in agreement that it was 500,000 the discussion is now officially over! Glenn Beck drew a larger crowd to "Reclaim the Civil Rights Movement" for fat ugly white people than did MLK I have a Dream rally 47 years ago!  Hear! here!

Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin have now TAKEN BACK not only the Civil Rights movement but America from...

As we have seen on the mall yesterday not only FROM Kenyans in the White house, African Americans, Hispanics and Muslims but anyone smarter and thinner than they are. In fact Charles Krauthammer did a recent column on why Liberals are about to lose Congress. Because they do not give ignorant bigoted white people their proper due. Oh come on Charles! Rule one in politics is to play to that very American ignorance while saying what intelligent voters they are. In fact you can see it all over the media today. This was a wonderful event full of hundreds of thousands of wonderful Americans praising God! Why? WHo do in the Hell to you think is buying all the Twinkies!  The Liberal Problem

This video runs or 25 minutes which is about 26 minutes too long. What we see in this character is a mix of the historic hate monger Father Coughlin, the fictional self aggrandizing Lonesome Rhodes and the mentally unstable Howard Beale.

Glenn Beck is a proudly and profoundly uneducated man who has studied enough history to understand that the two most successful forms of Right-wing propaganda are flag waving and Bible thumping. The crack in the pipe that attracts the smallest of mind and widest of waist.

But that is not the point I wish to make here, because after watching this video it became clear to me from whence ALL this horrid right-wing crap comes from.

If you watch Beck on FOX or listen to him on the radio you will soon find that there are four great enemies of America. Though this video is mostly consumed with the single aspect of Liberation Theology, the other three are Community Organizers, Progressives and Socialism. And what do all four of these things hold in hold in common?

A helping hand. Reaching out to others. Making this Earth a better place for all. An effort to work on improving this world rather than waiting around on your knees for the next. Watching out for each other. Being our brothers keeper. Altruism. Social programs for the old, for children and for the needy. Equal Justice. Equal Protection. Equal Rights. And so on...

And they are all the work of Satan because our American brand of Christianity is about none of those things. Rather it is about A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. Not a GROUP relationship, not a HUMAN relationship, but the very basis of Christianity has become only about ME and MY personal relationship I have with GOD. ME and GOD and YOU can go suck eggs. The direct opposite of what religion should be. I find it the most disgusting thing on Earth.  Kick! The Religion Pages

Glenn Beck Speaks to 87,000 but sees 500,000 on the mall

I watched this live for only a few minutes before the "Christian" overwhelmed me to move on. Listening to Beck and then Palin I realized they were saying NOTHING. There is nothing in it but religious jargon and patriotic homilies. Completely void of any substance. Honor what specifically? We have lost what exactly?  Religion is on the rise not the wane! Gosh... What are they yapping about? Kipling said it well, it seems to be all about WE against THEM. Whether religion or patriotism or the NFL, it's tribalism.

What could not be missed in this cheesy way of stealing the Civil Rights movement is that religion is the driving force of Right-wing swill which of late has become so consumed with religious intolerance, ethnic bigotry and overt racism here in JesusLand. Where a white morbidly obese English Only Jesus sports a .44 magnum in one hand and hands out the finger in the other. Kick! The bastardization of Christ.

"We have 300,000 to 500,000 here today!" Glenn Beck doing Fox News Math.

Because the Parks Department no longer gives crowd estimates because Right-wing organizers don't like their numbers, CBS hired a crowd estimate company onAirPhotosLive.com who put the number at 87,000 at high noon. 87,000 attend Glenn Beck Rally on the Mall

UPDATE! Fox News Sunday moderator Chris Wallace agreed with Beck's "hundreds of thousands" number. So there ya go, that's that!

This means Glenn Beck was only wrong by a factor of 5. Being that wrong is consistent with what Beck is wrong about in his Fox News and AM Radio shows. Though from the pictures I do believe had they collected cupcake wrappers they could have easily extrapolated the true number of the crowd. Pictures from Wonkette White Slob Church Picnic.

Wanna bet both of these morbidly obese woman are not only on socialist Social Security but also on socialist SSI and socialist Medicare? Wanna bet that scooter is paid for with your tax money?

As a one time troop I was aghast to find that here in America we trust our Military more than any other government entity. This of course is especially true of American Christians who seem to have death on their breath. Remember as Jesus said "Blessed are those who kill for a living, for they are the children of God." Mark 66:6

Here is a video of just one of the many reasons we trust the Military as we do. No RPGs, no AK47s, an unarmed group of men including two Reuters camera men. This video does not include them shooting up the rescue van in which a little girl was shot.

The Military (Pentagon) so does not like this kind of thing going public that they have accused the WikiLeak founder of rape and molestation. After all, he is not American, or it seems, a good American Christian.

I went through this same thing with these SAME KIND OF PEOPLE 40 years ago. In fact I bet many of them are the same people with the NUKE THE GOOKS signs who made a hero of Lt William Calley. Who did his patriotic respectful trusting duty - not to a dozen men - but hundreds of women and children at Mia Li. Oh you never ask questions when God's on your side. Kick! Jingo Patriotism
