Quite often in our oh-so American parochial world we forget that there is almost as much religious silliness going on outside our borders as there is here. Such is the case with the recent riots in Jerusalem in response to the city opening a parking lot where people can park on Shabbat. 28 demonstrators were arrested and 6 were injured, one seriously as they threw poop filled diapers at police. It seems Orthodox Jews save up on poop filled diapers. Orthodox Jews riot for Shabbat.

Please keep in mind that this is not like eating a shrimp cocktail or having a homosexual relationship in which one is denied life after death, but where God explicitly calls for real world vigilante public execution of the people, by the people and for the people.

So with that said, the first thing that comes to mind is the restraint this group of Old Testament believers showed by not stoning to death anyone (everyone) who works on Saturday (or parks their car on Saturday or may turn on the stove to cook a chicken on Saturday)... AS GOD COMMANDS! So let's give them that! Hear! Here!

Pentecostal Assemblies of God Pastor Ken Pagano got 50 more people to come to his church [200 rather than the regular 150] by declaring Bring your Gun to Church Day! Ky. pastor welcomes guns, their owners to church

None of the two hundred participants actually got to shoot anyone, but they had fun making a statement no matter. God Loves Guns.

There are many aspects of this to consider before casting judgement:

"Pentecostal" is a code word for highly educated people of Southern Heritage.

"Assemblies of God" means the same as above but with Master or Doctorate degrees who live in gated communities.

"Kentucky" is famous for...  Bourbon whiskey and Blue Grass (which is better than Panama Red or Acapulco gold I have heard).

We can assume that the EXTRA 50 people showing up came to support Affirmative Action easing up on handing out Green cards and supporting President Obama.

But most importantly, we know God has traded in his stones for a .44 "Make My Day" Magnum to deal with those who work on Sunday, women who commit adultery and those having a ham sandwich, shrimp cocktail or putting certain things in places they do not belong. BANG! BANG!

And not to forget Jesus with his low profile 9mm who so famously quipped, "If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other, smile and shoot them through the heart, 9 times."

Here in Texas we are awaiting for the Bring Your Gun to Kindergarten Day...  

America was founded upon God and Guns!  I never knew that! All this time I thought it America was founded on Reason and Freedom! But then what do I know I am neither Pentecostal or in the NRA. Which makes me an unREAL AMERICAN.

David Miscavige, "a" leader of the Church of Scientology has been accused of hitting executives and staff members at the top of the church hierarchy. If true that this church leader was indeed slapped adults for not paying attention and giving wrong answers, this would put Scientology a step above the FLDS whose womenfolk give their 13 year old daughters to old men for sex, a few more steps above whatever that crap Jimmy Swaggart is selling, and far above that religion that has nuns slapping the crap of children while priests give them the reach around.

The Phelps family Phreak show has stormed Seattle this week. Best known for bringing the children to help yell hate slogans at the site of homosexual soldiers' funerals, they've come from their home "church" in Kansas to bring their message of hate to several churches, synagogues, and schools they've targeted as being gay-friendly.

The beyond radical Westboro Baptist Church run by Fred Phelps, whose primary congregation is his own bat brained family, isn't going to storm the city without return fire, albeit peaceful. Hundreds of counter-demonstrators, many gay or lesbian were chief among those who stood their ground at Mount Zion Baptist Church on Sunday. Phelps and crew arrived during the worship service to stand outside and yell loudly, while carrying their "God Hates Fags" and "You're Going To Hell" signs. Phelps feels justified, because in his opinion the churches are telling lies."They've preached that lie from hell that God loves everybody - that you can live like the devil and have any hope of heaven at all," Phelps said. Mount Zion church members said the hate - wrapped in God's name - makes no sense. "If they're really concerned about God's work, there are people who are dying, of AIDS, of violence, they're starving," said Archie Pinkaney of Mount Zion. Well stated, but logic isn't the currency Westboro Church deals in. The group later targeted St. James Cathedral during services and despite their obnoxious and disruptive behavior, they will hit Garfield High School tomorrow as well as several Jewish centers in the city.

While openly admitting to preaching a gospel of hate, as well as their hatred for the United States, they have made profligate use of their freedom of speech for years. So far, the most anyone has been able to do is obtain an order to keep them at shouting distance. One truly wonders where their freedom of speech ends, and is considered to be a criminal obstruction to other people's right to assemble in worship, and bury their dead without verbal assault. "He was a mass murderer. He was an evil man — his hands were covered with blood." Christian terrorist Randall Terry on Dr. Tiller who with his friend Allan Keyes recently were the outside activists in the failed boycott of President Obama's commencement speech at Notre Dame.

51 year old Scott Roeder, a Christian Terrorist, entered the Reformation Lutheran Church Sunday morning and shot congregation usher and abortion doctor George Tiller once through the head. He pointed his gun at others in making his escape. Not only a Christian, Roeder was also a "Freeman", an offshoot of the libertarian movement who believe they are not subject to any state or federal laws. 

Roeder had been stopped in 1996 for having a homemade Freeman license plate. Explosives, detonators and other bomb making materials were found in his car. Enough for a few large pipe bombs. He was given 2 years probation but later won an appeal on the basis of an illegal search of his car. If it had been cocaine their would have been no appeal and he would still be in jail. Here in America, snorting lines at a disco is far worse than blowing people up with bombs. [I wrote that to be witty, leaned back, read it again and realized its not witty at all, its just the truth. Gosh, we are so screwed up I doubt 50 years of Obamas could fix things.]

Dr Tiller who preformed late abortions had been shot in both arms by Christian terrorist Rachelle Shannon at his clinic in 1993, she is still in prison. She must have had some weed on her. 

Of course the answer to this kind of thing is simple for Americans. Issue 9mm semi automatics to parishioners as the enter Sunday Services. [Opps! I did it again! Being sarcastic and then realizing it's not sarcasm at all but what we are.]

Bleass everyone for attending and praying in May to bring justice to Tiller and the closing of his death camp.
Sometime soon, would it be feasible to organize as many people as possible to attend Tillers church (inside, not just outside) to have much more of a presence and possibly ask questions of the Pastor, Deacons, Elders and members while there? Doesn’t seem like it would hurt anything but bring more attention to Tiller.

Though the vote was a unanimous 19 Republicans in support and 11 Democrats to reject, the Democrats had enough votes to get by the 2/3 needed to oust Texas Taliban State Board of Education chairman Don McLeroy. McLeroy is not only a staunch supporter of creationism and the 6000 year old Earth, but his Christian Fundamentalism also puts the nix on global warming, climate change, and of course multiculturalism which teaches Texas Students about other people and places. He and his Taliban Clan on the Board are trying to get their religious views into our text books which will be decided next year. The text books are used for 10 year periods. Texas textbooks also are purchased by many other states due to the buying power of the Texas population.

Though a blow for Texas secessionist Governor Rick Perry - who has recently gone off the deep end placating the Texas Republican Base to beat Senator Kay Baily Hutchinson in the primaries next year, - it is expected that he will retaliate by moving board member Cynthia Dunbar up to the chair position. One time matchbox preacher, right-wing radio talk show host and owner of the 24/7 Houston Right-wing radio station Dan Patrick who sold it all to become a state legislator understands the politics at hand. Democrats voting McLeroy down have feigned it as a lack of leadership rather than the religious ignorance and an embarrassment to Texas it actually is.

"If this isn’t about evolution, if this isn’t about what the Bible teaches, what is it all about? asked Sen. Dan Patrick, R-Houston, referring to opposition to McLeroy.

A recent Zogby Poll found that 80% of Americans want the "weaknesses of evolution" taught in public schools. That phrase is now the replacement for "creationism" since "Intelligent Design" took a big legal hit in Dover, Pennsylvania a few years back.  Dan Patrick knows full well that if 80% of Americans are that stupid - and Texans are known to be twice as stupid as everyone else -  that 160% of Texans are against evolution. Today is the last day of the get-to-gether over in Austin, Texas. Every other year Texans send their state representatives to the capital to do as little as possible. That is why it lasts less than half a year every two years. Texans had it right in 1836 and if it aint broke it don't need fixin'.

It is down to the wire for passing the Guns on Campus bill which would not allow Texas state universities to keep concealed weapons off their campuses. This is one is of course wildly popular issues down here in Dumbutt. After all, no one wants party crashers horning in on their keg parties without paying their fair share, i.e. socialism. And of course a few teachers - mostly those against these very kind of well thought out and fair minded gun laws - could use a few bullets flying over their heads to scare them back to New York where the came from.

But the big issue today is that the Senate Democrats have enough votes to oust State Board of Education chairman Dentist Don McLeroy who is -  to put it kindly - a moron. Who BTW, also looks like a moron. McLeroy is an old school creationist who believes the world was created in one fell swoop 6005 years ago and wishes to control the textbooks to reflect that believe. To question not only science but anything that smacks of teaching our 4 million Texas Students much of anything from the outside world. It all sounds like something intelligent is coming out of Austin rather than more guns and less Mexicans but for ...

In his primary race to beat Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson for the upcoming Governor's race, Governor Rick Perry has let it be known that if the Democrats do manage to oust Mr. McLeroy, he will immediately appoint Cynthia Dunbar to take his place as chairwoman of the State Board of Education. Governor Perry knows instinctively that Texas Republicans want proven and verifiable morons responsible for the education of our children down here in Dumbutt, after all, that is why he got the votes to become Governor. The 13 year old Minnesota boy who can be saved from soon dying from cancer if he receives medical attention has been kidnapped by his mother, seen in Southern California on her way to Mexico to have a Witch Doctor fix her boy. She is doing this all for religious reasons.  She is intent upon murdering her child for religious reasons. Andrea Yates who lived down just a piece here killed her 5 children for religious reasons. 911 happened for religious reasons. Our troops are dying in Afghanistan for religious reasons. The arrest of home grown terrorists in New York today planted bombs at synagogues for religious reasons. My fingers are getting tired but I could go on and on and on and on...
