The three most powerful Right-wing whackos in America, Catholics one and all, boycotted Pope Francis speech to Congress yesterday as they do not want to be seen with a Catholic who is a kindly old gentleman who speaks nicely of the poor, undocumented immigrants, of welcoming Muslim immigrants, the health of the planet, executions and the disparity of wealth.
To the horror of all Republican’s, the Pope spent only one sentence on women murdering their babies and nothing at all about homosexuality or gay marriage. What is a good intolerant bigoted Catholic Republican to think? Especially these Supreme Court justices who gave us Citizens United which has turned democracy into an oligarchy. Corporations are individuals and money is free speech. Just that statement alone, buying speech is free speech, is enough to bend your brain.
Why is it that of the nine Supreme Court Justices six are Catholics and three are Jews, when the majority of Americans are Protestant without one voice in one entire branch of government.
2016 is indeed the most important election in my memory. Breyer, Ginsberg and Kennedy will probably be replaced by the next president. You want two more like Scalia, Alito and Thomas? A 7 to 2 on every crazy right-wing issue that comes by?
Kennedy is getting old, Scalia is eating himself into a medicine ball and may trip and roll off the edge of the Earth, and Thomas? Impeach that butt ugly bastard.
Hillary 2016. Let’s not fool around with this one, we need to win it. Obama won because of a war and the September surprise of a failed economy. An outliner cannot win this one. Say what you will about Hillary, but this hard no nonsense woman with the most experience will make a better president than anyone of either party running, Which we all pretty much know to be true whether we want to have a beer with her or not.
