Chris Matthews sounds off on Republican secession movement

Yankees can be so clueless sometimes. I know, I used to be one.

Supposedly secession is about states rights in regards to taxation and abuse of federal powers? Bull Hockey! It’s the same old crap at work since 1850. We are the most under taxed country in the world which is THE single most reason we are in the economic dire straights we are in. PROVEN time and time again, over and over… Gosh…

The federal powers Republicans find so abusive are "socially" the civil rights laws and "economically" taking their tax money to "redistribute" to those less deserving (white) than they. Though not said publicly there is no getting around it.

The war is not Democrats against Christmas, that is invented crazyass insane crap. No that war is really the Republican Party’s, War on "Multiculturalism." Which is okay even though it is racism by just another name, it is not expressed explicitly. Much like Tom Tancredo is not a racist, he is just a well meaning "nativist". Which means he likes Indians a whole lot!

If you believe that crap, you also believe that your ancestors hunted dinosaurs. Oops! New poll shows 52% of Republicans and 40% of Americans actually believe that. And if you can believe that you can believe anything. Glenn Beck having an audience is the proof in that pudding.

BTW, Texas just had two state legislators switch from Democrats to Republicans, so now our legislature has 102 Republicans to 48 Democrats. That is a over a 2/3s majority! Meaning they can change the Texas Constitution at will. It also means that they have full command of 2010 census redistricting. Adding to the already lopsided plan Tom DeLay managed for Texas in 2003. And to make matters worse – if you thought that possible – the 2010 census will also add 4 more Texas Republicans to the US Congress, and remove 10 electoral votes from Democratic states to Republican States. Oh and just one more cheerful note… It looks like Michele Bachmann is going to run for president!
