The news story is about a Kenyan court ruling giving the government the joy of holding down suspected gay men and sticking objects up their rectum to gather evidence that they are gay to send them to long prison terms. The kicker here is that they know that the rectal evidence proves nothing, they do it just for the humiliation and pain involved. This rectal rape is also the case in Uganda and Zambia. Kenya and Zambia are 83% Christian and Uganda is a Christian State, 99% Christian.
Christian states in the United States that refuse to rescind their sodomy laws are the very very Christian states of Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
The problem is not so much religion as it is a few silly old books overflowing with dark age crap. Ever notice that it’s only the religious people who recite scripture that make you bang your head against the wall?
