I suspect that Norris and his wife made their decision shortly after Newt’s monetary offer arrived, rather than during the very last GOP ‘debate’ as he claims. There is nothing new in paying celebrities for voice-overs, but in a month when the words ‘prostitute’ and ‘slut’ are widely used, Norris is inviting a comparison each and every time a robocall breaks the peace of a private home with his robotic endorsement…or it would be an intrusion, in most any area with the exception of Mississippi and Alabama, the two states where Norris will be heard.
This is especially worrisome in light of recent polls showing that an enormous number of people in the two states believe that President Obama is a Muslim…I assume they regard him as a militant Muslim bent on the destruction of the country. Worse yet, they are openly racist, which is undoubtedly at the root of their willing ignorance. People who are this poorly informed and under-educated will feel thrilled when an action film actor reads a recorded message to them. You see, they believe that Chuck Norris is ‘real’ too!
