Here in Houston we just had a big fight over a city wide equal access law that gave transgender people access to public rest rooms of their chosen gender. Black preachers and white Republicans joined together screaming and carrying on about having opposite sex watching them pee – or take a dump I would assume. The sexual arousal caused by watching people pee and take a dump aside, these people seem to be missing the elephants in the bathroom on this.
Yes, elephantS. First off is who is going to check to see which set of genitals a person has before they enter the restroom? Would that be the TSA out in front of all public bathrooms? Or perhaps Jesus? That would be a good idea because he is invisible and wouldn’t cause too much trouble. Or maybe the Republican Women of the Woodlands?
There is also another big elephant that these kind of people seem to fail to understand. If a transgender male is for all visual purposes a woman on the outside, should she be going into men’s rooms and lift her dress in front of a urinal? Or the other way around, should a transgender female who for all visual purposes is a male boldly walk into ladies rooms?
Here is the question in all this. Are these intolerant Christian Republicans so stupid they do not understand these two Mastodons in the bathroom? Or do they understand it full well and are such horrible people they want to make transgender people hold it in and run all the way home to take a pee or a dump? Or perhaps there is a third option. They are stupid and horrible.
