Colbert: Texas GOP Platform rejects Critical Thinking

There is critical thinking down here in Dumbutt! Though mostly concerning with various aspects of  shooting. Like who to shoot, when to shoot, if an 80 round clip is enough. If it’s best to take two guns to the bars in case you get so drunk you lose one…

The critical thinking issue is just a small part of the overall rejection of  “multiculturalism” by the Republican Party. Who by the way, has a super majority on the legislature, and as yall found out last year during the primaries, a certified moron as Governor to sign anything they come up with.

The primary point of the platform is to protect white Texas culture and evangelical Christianity from Hispanic and African American teachers who are filling Texas children with the history of Texas. There are many things white Texans do not want their children to know. For example, one of the primary reasons for the fight at the Alamo was to keep slavery intact in the territory. Though I don’t know why they are concerned about anyone knowing that, after all, Justice Scalia recently pointed out that slavery was part of the good old days when we followed the constitution.
