Kick! Making Politics Fun

It’s a cultural treat for patriots today, with two uniquely American museums featured in the blog. After you’ve absorbed the flag museum, it’s time to visit Springfield, Illinois! If you think that the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum sounds boring, you haven’t visited with Conan, who has been a fan of Abe since his first album came out.

Who knew you could meet with four Lincolns? They can all breathe a bit easier now that Conan pointed out John Wilkes Booth – I mean really, he was right under their collective noses. Oddly, there was only one Mary Todd Lincoln on the premises, until Conan brought in another to give her coffee breaks. Mary Two had the old boys adjusting their spectacles…I don’t think she’s safe with the Todd of more seniority, and should watch her back, or whatever isn’t visible under that birdcage she was wearing, what a tart!
