The loveable goofball who plays Trump in the film, is much more engaging than the original Trump 1.0, despite the offensive and often shocking things continually flying out of his pie hole. Also – and this seems to impress people, Trump’s remarks are unscripted! So are your drunk uncle’s observations at Christmas, but no one is impressed by those thoughtful opinions, although he too is ‘telling it like he sees it.”
We should have braced early on when Trump cheerfully told Rolling Stone how proud he was of daughter Ivanka: “Yeah, she’s really something and what a beauty, that one,” Trump bragged, reported Rolling Stone . “If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father …” Ewwwww. This one has an ‘Ick Factor’ in the billions. The fact that few have honed in on this remark gives us a glimpse into the mindset of an average Trump follower, and the sheer number of whacked comments the man makes daily.
