Court stops Bloomberg Soda Law, Conan Obrien

Bloomberg sodaThis goes way way beyond soda law.  It's about and endless list of slippery slopes that never slide. It's about a corporate lobby who has ZERO concern for people other than board members and stock holders – as is the point of all corporations. It's about ME and not US. But most of all it's about not just DOING the wrong thing, but a joyous in your face celebration of doing the wrong thing.

Diabetes and child obesity are the MAIN health issues causing out ever rising health care costs. Doesn't matter. What matters is someone telling me what to do. Usually someone much smarter than me. George Will is still climbing the walls about seat belt laws. But it's okay because George also wants EVERYONE to carry a loaded assault rifle around with them. I don't know what that means other than George Will is a creep.

The Bloomberg law limits sugar soda drinks to 16 ounces in some venues. That is 52 grams of sugar. Or 13 teaspoons. NOT ENOUGH SUGAR WE SCREAM! Think of ordering an ice tea that is 16 ounces and tearing open 13 packets of sugar to add to it.  I just did a test on my diet scale.  For a good idea of how much sugar is in just a 12 ounce can of soda, take your sugar dispenser and start pouring it into your average man sized cupped hand. When it begins to overflow over you hand you are ALMOST there. At 16 ounces and 52 grams it's all over the counter.

This is ridiculous. People can buy two or 10 or 20 drinks. Doing the right thing is not an option in DON'T TREAD ON ME AMERICA. Which applies to guns as well as sugar. Oh and rising taxes on the wealthy.
