Daily Show Al Madrigal, Immigration Reform, Hispanics voting for Republicans a million to one

al madrigalThe big political question is whether the GOP moving on Immigration Reform will mean a bump in Hispanic voting from 72 negative to  60 negative which they believe may be enough to stem the tide for Republicans not being able to win national elections. It is also the only reason they are flying this zeppelin.

As the GOP reaches out to Hispanics on immigration reform, the semantics and policies show Hispanics that it is only cosmetic and political, but that Republicans just don’t like Wetbacks, Taco Eaters and Barooms. [That last one from calls to apartment locators in the Southwest for so often being asked, “Cuantos Barooms?” The more Barooms the better!]

It’s kind of like optometrist Rand Paul going to Howard University to lecture Black college students and Black university professors on race and politics in America. He meant well but he sure as Hell didn’t fool anyone.
