We now have to depend on getting our fact checking on the Republican debate from late night comedy shows. Where were the moderators following up on all these lies? And worse yet, the Fox Business News staff after the event refusing to question anything they lied about? Now that’s the kind of debate Republicans and pig farmers want.
And it isn’t even just politician’s lies, these are lies that are the direct opposite of the truth, the anti-truths.
And some are just so obvious, like Rubio saying welders make more than philosophers. College professors and published writers make at last twice as much as welders. Everyone knows it, but Republicans refuse to question it as long as they are told their taxes will be reduced and that African Americans, Hispanics and immigrant will be getting more of the bad end of the stick.
In fact they must know it will be the wealthy who get all the tax breaks rather and not them, but no matter, as long as African Americans, Hispanics and immigrants get the shaft with the blessing of Jesus Christ, it doesn’t matter.
It’s racism stupid.
I especially liked how Chris Christie played to that just yesterday.
“I want the Black Lives Matter people to understand: Don’t call me for a meeting. You’re not getting one.” Chris Christie playing the race card as hard as it can be played.
I also like this one from the Mr. Doughnut.
“If you’re getting high in Colorado today, enjoy it. As of January 2017, I will enforce the federal laws.” Chris Christie on sending THE FEDS to enforce FEDERAL LAWS over STATES RIGHTS in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Washington DC and California.
Is Chris Christie stupid? No, he is feeding the Beast with what they want to hear.
