A few facts have come to light recently about all this. 90% of those stopped, put against a wall or car, and have their crotches grouped have done nothing wrong. Of those 10% who are arrested, less than 1% is for weapons while most are arrested for SMALL AMOUNTS OF POT.
Of course the Republican argument is that the stop and frisk blacks and Hispanics because that is where the crime is. Well, how about stopping and frisking white college kids on college campus where far more of them have pot in the pocketses. You know why. We all know why.
The Republicans say that now violent crime will rise if they can’t stop and frisk. Well, let’s find out.
