As to Mexicans taking everyone’s job? I live down here in Dumbutt, Texas where illegal immigrants openly work for people we all know, including ourselves on occasion. So who is out interviewing for a roofer job in Texas, for foundation jobs tunneling under houses with a 2 foot spade, for taking the 5am shift to clean toilets at the Holiday Inn, or running behind that garbage truck, or cutting the grass when it’s 105 for four months a year?
Talk to any employer about any of that and you will find that they have tried to hire regular Americans for those jobs to find those who will work at that pay scale are very young white males who miss work all the time due to hangovers, concerts, long weekends and are often late. While on the other hand the Mexicans never miss a day, are never late and work twice as hard. Who you gonna call?
