Here in Texas we love Mississippi, for without it we would be 50th in most education and poverty indicators rather than 49th. Haley Barbour ruled over the most failed state in America. I took notice that when the GOP was talking him up as a 2012 presidential candidate, suddenly all the pictures of him in his governor’s office with the Confederate flag draped in front of his desk and hanging from the walls suddenly disappeared from Google Images.
From Texas the view is that Governor Christie had no chance at the nomination anyway – not one picture of him with a gun – it will be Ted Cruz running against that Hillary lady. Cruz enjoys standing ovations wherever he goes down here, women throw their Depends at him, men fire their pistols in the air, how could it be anyone but Ted Cruz Texas wonders?
