I have always been against State Propositions even when I may agree with them. Which is rarely. In fact I can think of only one, medical marijuana. On the other hand I can think of many I disagree with like no taxes, no Mexicans and of course no homos.
Propositions as direct democracy are a bad idea for two reasons. First and foremost because most people are mostly stupid. And secondly it’s about who can afford to pay for the most advertising and the most per signature. Recently in California that means Amazon and the Mormon Church.
