Lord of the Rigs, Fox News moderator Chris Wallace asked Donald about political tradition to which Jordan Klepper responds: “That’s adorable, there stopped being American Tradition the moment Donald Trump stepped onto to that escalator. You think President Trump is going to pardon that Turkey on Thanksgiving? He’s gonna stop it, frisk it, waterboard its wife and children and then feed its carcass to Secretary of State Scott Baio.” Scott Baio as Secretary of State is minimal compared to the angriest most hate filled man in America Rudy Giuliani becoming Attorney General. Hell, even I would grab my Fixodent, my hearing aid batteries, my old gas mask from the Sixties and take to the streets with all 40 million African Americans and 50 million Latinos. The streets will be crowded, I hope there will be enough taco trucks to feed us all.
Last night I was watching the Packer / Bear game with a Chicago friend who is a Trumper [he especially likes Trump’s torture and nuke options.] In the second half the Packers began stomping the Bears and my friend blamed it on bad calls from the umpire. “Yeah Bob, it’s rigged!” Bob went on to explain that indeed it was, the game was in Green Bay where the fans yelled and screamed so loud the QB couldn’t make the calls, the penalty calls were all one sided and the Bears would have otherwise won. And the kicker? He didn’t even realize the silly connections he was making to Trump and this election.
It occurred to me at that moment that the most ubiquitous running joke over the next year or so is going to sarcastic yells of “IT’S RIGGED!”
Since the third debate with Trump refusing to say he will concede if he losses and calling Hillary a “nasty woman” he has gone UP in the polls in both Ohio and Iowa. Because you see, those with paranoid conspiracy worldviews are the same and equal to those not having a paranoid conspiracy world view. It’s all the same for the media to hold share.
