This comparison of pretend entities in “cyberspace” versus “the sky” reminds me of a Sci-Fi book I read long ago which had the general theme of God appearing in cyberspace which everyone gradually accepts. It turns out to be two kids in their basement with WIFI. I want to say Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card but not too sure. I always liked Orson Scott Card, who better to write good Science Fiction than a Mormon?
