Jon Stewart may indeed by the King of Wit at not only the Daily Show but as America’s political pundit as well, though it has been Jason Jones and wife Samantha Bee who did the funny. This was also the difference between Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, the wit versus the funny.
After doing this now for 20 years I know well the difference between wit and funny. It is rather easy to by witty but very very hard to be funny. Well without fart jokes anyway.
Here! Hear! On Jason Jones and wife Sam Bee’s new endeavors, I am sure they will do well though I will hate to see both of them reigned in to the TV norm.
